Polish Government Launches Probe To Determine Teletubbies Sexual Orientation

The Polish government has announced plans to launch an official investigation into the sexual orientation of the Teletubbies. Does Poland have nothing better to do?

Well, While they are at it, They might want to consider what that purple creature in McDonald's is for and what gender does it represent. I'd love to subpoena the makers of Winnie the Pooh on why he doesn't wear underwear and if Bert and Ernie are really a gay couple.

Hey, They are both actors and we know gay people love the theater!

Frankly, I wish they would just donate some money to my bank account. I'll bet they would feel much more satisfied.

Pirates of the Carribean: At World's End

Due to a series of unfortunate events, I watched one of the most anticipated movie franchises of the past 3 years.

I went with a girlfriend instead of my co-worker because she had the chills. I can't blame her predicament. The sky shows a lot of rapid changes in temperature, the wind starts to turn cold, and a slight drizzle from above stakes it's obvious claim that a wet season has started.

The usual suspects are in attendance in this movie. Johnny Depp as the witty yet charming Jack Sparrow along with the rest of the cast, Geoffrey Rush, Keira Knightley, etc, etc.

Perhaps the most notable of the cast would Chow Yun-Fat. He plays his part well albeit a short one. When playing a quasi-monarchial, eyebrow-raising, pirate lord, Chow shows that he can both be humble and kingly no matter how drab the outfit.

Special mention also go to Mackenzie Crook and Pintel. They finally had some importance besides comic relief. They both remind me of Alan Wudyk (Carrot Top squire) and Mark Addy (The Full Monty fat guy). They play comic roles in the film but in this particular pirate movie at least Mackenzie Crook has a bit of importance in relation to his wooden eye.

Which reminds me, Paul Bettany should do a solo comic movie soon. He was freaking funny and always leaves a lasting impression.

Ahhh well, I digress again....I think I am going to have a migraine soon but it doesn't matter.

Tower of Babble

The humidity of the local weather has been calming down the last few days. We've been getting rain in very minuscule quantities across the whole city. Of course, a cooler climate is always a welcome friend, especially for people like me who sleep during the day.

Another co-Case Manager has left the company to pursue a better paying (but more responsibilities) trade in a different company. Congratulations to Anwar!

This weekend, I'm hoping to get a co-worker to watch Pirates at the Greenbelt movie theater. It's been a while since I took someone out. It's just a casual date. No funny stuff as I am there for the company and nay for romance.

I can't wait. Shrek the Third was a disaster and I did not really enjoy it as much as the ads say about it.

Hopefully, I post in better reviews on Pirates and something exciting on the forthcoming night!

Time to doze off....

Thin Is In

That's right ladies and gents. This is a notebook, not a skinny model. It's almost as thin as a Motorola Razr and very light. This would be ideal for most people who like to bring in their notebooks with almost no effort. I hear the specs are pretty wicked by today's standards, let's just hope it's as good in the real world as it is in paper.

Do you like it? Digg It!!!!

William Gibson's Neuromancer Finally Coming to the Big Screen!

William Gibson's bestseller novel that was first published in 1984, Neuromancer, is being brought to the big screen by indie producer Peter Hoffman. The project will get a $70 million budget with Joseph Kahn currently set to direct...

This news is sooo awesome. I think this is the second or third time that plans to make a movie about Neuromancer hit the net. Nothing solid, though.

Digg this story if you think it rocks!

Btw, I just subscribed to Digg and it is freaking awesome!

Spiderman 3 is a disappointment

I just got home from the movie theater and was very disappointed.

I was better off watching Spiderman 3 on DVD in the comfort of my own home. It was all hype. The story line was a bit weak and too much villains against one person. Topher Grace played Eddie Brock and If I remember correctly he was actually a big bully doing free lance photography so I am not sure why and how he got the part.

Im hoping for a better sequel to this. I hear Spiderman 4 is in the works.

Well, I am not an easy person to please and my standards were always high on some counts.

I guess that's why I'm still single, constantly dating but never in a serious relationship.

Global Warming - In My Own Bed!!!

It is sooooooo hot!

I've woken up at this ungodly hour (Daytime is ungodly for me) on this last day of work.

Someone mentioned a funny anecdote and this would I apply to what I feel right now. Waking up from bed, drenched in sweat and as I make a huge effort to stand up I check the bed I just left..

There's an outline of my body, similar to a crime scene.

I thought to myself, the summer gets hotter every year, someone should put a stop to it.

So I did....

The fan is turned up all the way high and I've put a bowl of ice just in front of it so the coolness is swept by the humid air my fan brings. Ahhhhh refreshing!

I've kept a constant supply of peach flavored C2 (Yummy!) in the fridge near my room and have been drinking it like alcohol.

With all the taxes the government steals way from my paycheck they should be able to control the weather!!! Grrrr....the sun is simply not my thing. I am a winter solstice and moon worshipper, I need my cold weather!

I should stop now before I scream my bloody guts out and add more heat to the already warm weather!

Spiderman 3 & Other Movies

Hey!

Spiderman 3 opened up on the 1st of May. I wasn't able to watch it on the date of it's local premiere but what the hell, I hear that it was doing almost 24 hour showing on the other side of the world so I am guessing that something similar would happen at the local cinema scene.

I was hoping to see it at the only IMax theater at SM Mall of Asia but then if it is going to be shown in 2D on an IMax screen then it defeats the purpose of watching it under a more aural/visually-exhilarating environment.

I've been hearing people talking about it and it seems most people I see have seen it but me.

I've considered putting in a list of movies I'd like to watch this year:

  • Spiderman 3
  • Shrek the Third
  • Pirates of the Carribean: At World's End
  • Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer
  • Transformers
  • The Simpsons in 2D

Im looking forward to this 3rd quarter for more dates in the movies and dinner. I really should ask someone out from the office, probably just to get a feel of what it's like to date within your own prison.
